I got tagged by my friend Kwan on the most unusual things I did in school. It’s hard to remember, I’m pretty normal as a kid and teenager. It was only after college that my real personality emerged. Hehehe…I turned out to be a freak.

Ok, so this is how far my memory serves me.

Pre-school

I used to be left-handed then they taught me to write using my right hand. I think that’s when my confusion started. They didn’t know they created a monster. :-D

Elementary

When I was about Grade 2, I have a classmate who was really a slow learner. He often comes to school without an assignment. So he asked me if he can copy mine. I agreed on one condition. He has to give me pad paper in exchange for my assignment. I guess I was pretty entrepreneurial even as a child.

High School

Instead of drooling over boys, me and my pals were digging trivia books. Yeah, I know that sound boring. But to us, it’s better than talk with boys with zit-covered faces and oily skin.

College

Who says you need to be prim and proper in a Catholic University? My barkada and I got away with drinking beer inside the campus. We pour them inside a plastic just like a soft drink and use straw when drinking. Engineering is fun.

Post Grad

I actually read the textbooks. I got so used to being spoon-fed at a Catholic University that I had to do extra work in order to do all the research and case studies required at UP.

So there, that’s how unusual I was. In hindsight, I think I had a pretty normal and happy childhood. I’m tagging Tikalon, Niel, and Kaith. Come on, show us how weird you were . . .are. :-D
