The Stinking Bigfoot

Well, well, well… all this hullabaloo over the Bigfoot body found in Georgia turned out to be just chismis. The three men involved in the Bigfoot press conference were publicist and veteran Bigfoot hunter Tom Biscardi, and the two alleged discoverers of a Bigfoot carcass in the state of Georgia — prison guard Rick Dyer and police officer Matthew Whitton. They had nothing to show the audience but two blurry photos, one of a solitary figure in mixed hardwood forest and another of the mouth of what appeared to be the tongue and teeth of a primate. And they had the guts to call for a Bigfoot press conference!

Those who waited eagerly and watched the live Bigfoot press conference were in for a shock. Well, you had it coming guys. That Bigfoot press conference is stinking right from the start. Tom Biscardi, the man behind Searching for Bigfoot Inc, had also promoted what turned out to be a fake Bigfoot discovery in 1995.

Where is the Bigfoot body they say they found? They didn’t bring it at the Bigfoot press conference. They say it’s in a hidden location. They won’t say where exactly they found the creature. They won’t even let anyone but their own hand-picked scientists examine the body, and none were present during the Bigfoot press conference. At least they got enough buzz that even CNN covered the Bigfoot press conference.

What can you say about a headline that read “Bigfoot body found in the Philippines”? Sounds nice no? Actually the reason why they couldn’t produce the body of Bigfoot is because the creature is here in Negros Occidental, Philippines and it goes by the name “amomongo”. The creature is camping up in the mountains of La Castellana and goes down once in a while to terrorize the locals.

If you think only Promdis still believe in folklore creatures such as aswangs, think again. There’s your proof that even Americans can be as gullible. And they do it with such sophistication. Calling a Bigfoot press conference, putting up a website, and they even have an online radio program! Darn, and I’m taking part in their craziness by blogging about it.

Enough of this Bigfoot thing. Show that alleged Bigfoot body and have it examined by reputed experts and maybe people will believe you. If not, then packed whatever that thing is and hike up to the woods for hoaxters like you deserve not to be in contact with the rest of the sane community. Case closed.
