This is funny if not downright hilarious from where I’m sitting. Google posted on its blog that the company rents goats to replace the lawnmower in cutting grass from the fields around its headquarters.
It’s their way of reducing carbon emission since mowers run on gasoline that produce pollutants. Google rents 200 goats from a company named California Grazing. The goats spend a week in eating the grass and fertilizing the field at the same time. I guess nobody had picnics on their lawn.

They said it costs the same as using lawnmowers. In this time of crisis, why don’t they just hire people to cut the grass manually? That way there will be no pollutants and they’d be providing jobs.
Who knows what Google would think of next.

That’s pretty funny, I can see Google doing something like that, any word as to how much they get paid? LOL

@Network – I have no idea how much they paid for the goats.
@MM – binuang no? Tani ginpagarab na lang nila sa mga homeless. hehehe
Dali lang, sin-o ga tinlo sang ipot kanding? LOL.
hehehe…its funny that even in the White House, they use goats instead of mowers… i think it’s not about cutting carbon emission but more of about signifying the importance of memeee.

Haha… This is nice! Probably they plan to have it converted to a plantation of fruits or vegetables or maybe just planning to convert it into garden. The feces of those goats will make the soil there fertilized and conducive for these plants. LOL.

Hehehe.. Yeah, they are good as fertilizer but if left outside the field I know they smell really bad.
