Stephanie Mae - Another Fil-Am Singer to Watch Out For

You know how it is with us Filipinos, we believe all of us are singers. Videoke is always present in any gathering. And we don’t care if we have the voice or not as long as we can belt it out. And oh, there’s been too many a fights over Frank Sinatra’s My Way during Videoke sessions. The love for music is deeply ingrained in Pinoys, pure-blooded or otherwise. Attest to that the many international talents the country has produced, Lea Salonga, Lani Misalucha, Martin Nievera, Jed Madela, Billy Crawford, Vanessa Hudgens, Apl D Ap, Nicole Scherzinger, and lately Charice Pempengco, to name a few.

Through blog hopping, I stumbled upon the blog of Simply Belle. She’s technically a promdi, having been born in Catanduanes and eventually migrated to the United States. What I’m really excited about is to learn that her daughter Stephanie Mae has released a CD entitled Poker Face. I think it rocks! Great songs and great voice. It won’t be long before she’s going to be a big star also. In fact, she’s already starting to make a name in Payson, Arizona. Go visit Stephanie Mae’s MySpace to listen to her music and go over to her Stephanie Mae’s online store to grab a copy of her CD.

@Lazarus. Yes, we should be proud. Let’s show our support by buying her CD if it will be available here. Hehehe…Bawal piratahin. I’m not an affiliate marketer here ha. I just appreciate the talent. :-D

@Verns. Yeah, she’s got real talent. It’s not everyday that a singer can write songs too. The melody makes you notice the song but it’s the lyrics that makes you want to listen to it again and again.

      OK, linked you up already.
