Being one of local Surigaonoon I’m so proud to hear the news! I’m just hoping that some investor will put up a shopping mall in the City since the city population is rapidly increasing,which is a very good market.Congrats to all Surigaonoon!!! cheers…

I have made corrections on this post. Bacolod was ranked No. 15 instead of 17 as what I previously posted since there are cities with the same scores. However, Bacolod is still below 16 cities.

Its weird gid. The mayor is contributing it to poor reporting from the city planning. Here’s what he said in the newspaper yesterday.

“This is a big surprise since we expected a much better result,” Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia yesterday said. It’s ironic and hard to believe that what seemed to have pulled the city down is the area of dynamism of local economy, he said.

Apparently, it is a case of bad reporting on the part of the City Planning and Development Office, he said, “because we all know that our economy in the past years had metamorphosed into a very vibrant one.”

Well, I feel sorry for the CPDO. They will surely receive some lambasting from the Mayor.
