Dumaguete has a celebration called Buglasan festival if im not mistaken which they celebrate every Dec.When your planning to go Negros Oriental there are three route to choose.Dumaguete via San Carlos,Dumaguete via Mabinay,Bayawan to Dumaguete. I was been in Bayawan for maintenance work it takes me 7 hours to reach in Bayawan i leave Bacolod 2am the best thing is the food is cheaper :D :D I dont know I never been in that place for about 6 years now. We didn't have anything to do on a Saturday afternoon so we drove from my Lola's house in Dauin all the way to Bayawan. Fun times. Oriental Negros is a great place to explore.
