Iloilo City Mayor Finally Shaves

Mayor Jerry Treñas has vowed not to shave his beard and mustache until all debris, mud and dust brought by Typhoon Frank have been cleaned form the streets of Iloilo City. Mayor Treñas finally has reason to shave his beard and moustache.  A month and a half after the typhoon hit Iloilo and the rest of Panay Island, the Iloilo City government has wrapped-up the citywide cleanup last July 31. I saw Mayor Treñas this morning in RGMA show Arangakada being interviewed and sporting a clean shaven face. I hope there wouldn’t be another reason for him to sport a hermit look.
