“Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” Delayed

18 August 2008 478 Views 8 CommentsPrint this post Print this post Email this post Email this post

Bad news for Harry Potter fans. The film screening of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was moved by Warner Bros. from November 21, 2008 to July 17, 2009.

Warner executives said the date change was a business decision and not due to any production delays on “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Production on some of their films were delayed due to a recent strike of the Writers Guild of America leaving a lighter lineup for the busy summer season. July 17 also offers a better box-office potential for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” since the blockbuster “The Dark Knight” debuted on the same weekend this year.

Well, there’s no doubt that “Half Blood Prince” will be one of the blockbuster films no matter what date Warner decide to release the film. For now, at least, we can watch the “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Trailer.”

@Tikalon - consider that as a gift from Voldemort. hehehe… It sucks that Harry Potter is being used as a filler for other Warner films delayed.
