by PromdiBlogger on January 10, 2009

The City of Bacolod and the Filipino-Chinese Communities will once again welcome the Year of the Ox with festivities for the 2009 Bacolaodiat Festival.

The highlight of the 2008 Bacolaodiat Festival was held at the Negros Occidental Capitol Lagoon. This year, it will be at the Capitol Shopping Center, Bacolod City’s China Town.

Different activities were already lined up for the  festival scheduled January 23-26. Lantern parade, fireworks, street dancing, food festival, and more.  The 2009 Bacolaodiat Festival Schedule is obviously a showcase of the best in Filipino and Chinese Cultures.

This year’s festival will surely be better and bigger than the last. It will be brighter too with the nightly fireworks display dubbed as “symphony of lights and sparks”.
