The Extra Challenge’s Promdi Episode is one of the most hilarious and entertaining episodes I’ve watched. It was aired in 2005 featuring actress and beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez, international VJ Donita Rose, and international recording star Jasmine Trias. The three celebrities were challenged to take on tasks which they probably never imagined themselves doing. Those tasks are quite familiar for a Promdi (from the province) like me but for the celebrities, those were probably extremely difficult.
The location was in a farm in Batangas where the celebrities were tasked to catch frogs, climbed coconut trees, cut the teeth of piglets, plowed the rice field and even rappel down a waterfalls. The celebrities face the challenges in order to win grants of college scholarship for three children.
Last Saturday, GMA’s Sine Totoo featured the Promdi Episode of Extra Challenge. Watch the videos below and see if you’re Promdi enough to do those tasks. Although I haven’t climed a coconut tree, I already caught a frog, cleaned it, and eat it too. Eeky? Not from a Promdi’s point of view.
