Is the Philippines ready for Federalism? Senator Pimentel has introduced Senate Resolution No. 10 which envisioned the creation of 11 federal states. These colonizers have done a great job in brainwashing us such that some FIlipinos doesn’t even want to be free from them. We even wanted to be like them yet they never really treated us as their equal. They have subjected us to be “Indios” and their “Little Brown Brother”.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d like to travel the world as much as the next Pinoy. The reason is simple, I believe in the saying ‘Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan’ (Dont’t be a stranger in your own country). Don’t you think you should too? Before packing your bags and leaving this country for good, don’t you think she deserves a second look?
