Hi thanks for this wonderful info! I think they should have also included May 10 as that is the election day. Well, will there really be an election in 2010, we will soon find that out.

Congratulations for trying the balut. My friend who is from USVI visited me last April and he can’t eat the balut, he did try though so just to please me.
Try adobo and sinigang, well there are really a lot of filipino dishes for you to try!

I have been in the Philippines now for about 6 weeks, this is a good list of holidays to know.
A while ago, when I was in Indonesia, you suggested via comment that if I come to the Philippines I eat some Balut (I did, not too bad) and I have been enjoying the Filipino food, especially Bicol Express (I love it)!
