A Mother’s Day Reminder

Not everybody may have a child but everybody is a son or a daughter. Our mothers have given us so much in our lifetime. In Filipino culture, a mother never stopped being a mother to their children but is even more a mother to their grandchildren.

How often do we repay all the things she has given us? No amount may be enough to pay her back but we have a lifetime to try. In this time and age when time is the most precious resource we have, don’t you think it is only but fitting for us to spend a great deal of it with our mothers?

They may seem like super humans but they can’t read minds no matter how good their motherly instincts are. So every chance you get, tell her how much you love her and how much she’s appreciated. How else would they know that they’ve done a great job?

“Let us be the best legacy of our mothers.”

For those who are parents, or planning to become one, the best gift we can give our mother is to be the best parents ourselves. Let us be the best legacy of our mothers.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers!
